Janet Z. Wan, CFP®, President
Janet is the founder and the president of Sierra Pacific Financial Advisors, LLC (SPFA). She oversees operations, client relations, business development and strategic planning for SPFA. She has over 20 years experience in personal finance and asset management, and has been providing comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services to families, professionals, corporate executives and business owners since 1997.

Prior to establishing SPFA, Janet served as a family financial advisor at Freed & Myers Wealth Management, Inc., in Chevy Chase, Maryland, one of the top wealth management firms in the United States, as ranked by Bloomberg Wealth Manager magazine. She also worked at Cambridge Associates LLC, a worldwide investment-consulting firm, where she provided high-quality, independent research and analysis to institutional investors and private clients.

Janet has been actively involved in several national and local professional associations and community service organizations. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association, and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). Janet has appeared numerous times as a guest speaker on KTSF TV26 Talk Tonight show to speak about the value of financial planning. She has also been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Investment News, Dowjones.com and The Street.com on various financial topics. Janet received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and International Business from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Janet has great passion to help the people and the community she lives in. She served on the board of Gale Ranch Home Association in San Ramon. She proudly volunteers in various programs through the FPA of Silicon Valley Chapter to provide free financial consultation to the under-served people. With her international background, Janet enjoys traveling around the globe to learn different cultures, history, and architecture. In her spare time, Janet likes to play golf, take Zumba classes, and ski in Lake Tahoe.

Glen Jones, CFP®, Director of Financial Planning

Glen has extensive experience in developing comprehensive plans that address all the facets of financial planning, including retirement, investment, tax, estate and risk management / insurance. His planning methodology is based on considering the interdependencies between all the elements of a client’s financial status and goals in order to create a viable financial strategy.

Prior to joining SPFA, Glen was a senior product manager at Fiserv where he was responsible for product definition, planning, implementation and deployment of a stochastic financial analysis solution which was successfully launched by a Fortune 500 financial services company, and is currently utilized by over 700 financial advisors.  Glen also worked as the Director of the Financial Planning Unit at SGC Financial where he managed the investment and financial planning activities of the firm and delivered numerous comprehensive financial plans, analyses, recommendations and implementation strategies.

Glen is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). He holds a graduate certificate in Financial Planning from University of California, Berkeley, an MBA in Finance from California State University, East Bay, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.


In his spare time, Glen enjoys bicycle riding, skiing and kayaking.  He also enjoys attending sporting events including Stanford football and his daughter's soccer games.

Angelina Barrientos, CRPS®, Director of Corporate Retirement Planning 

Angelina specializes in Corporate Retirement Planning, specifically 401(k) Plans, Defined Benefit Plans and Deferred Compensation Plans, for professional firms and small-to-mid-size companies. Her goal is to make a difference for plan sponsors while focusing on educating fiduciaries and reviewing their liabilities.  Angelina's previous background in law and the ability to perform multiple roles with a broad range of analytical skills makes her a great resource in corporate retirement planning arena.  She is a professional and driven team player who strives to build trust and strong long-term relationships with SPFA clients.

Prior to joining SPFA, Angelina worked as Head Paralegal at a local law firm where she focused in the areas of Bankruptcy and Family Law. Her experience as a paralegal enriched her knowledge of retirement planning and managing client relationships, which have helped her to make a smooth transition to a career in the financial services industry.

Angelina holds a certificate in Charted Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS®) from the College for Financial Planning, and a certificate in Paralegal Studies and an Associates of Art degree in Criminal Justice. 

In her spare time, Angelina proudly serves as a volunteer at LOV Newark whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens, youth, and the needy of the tri-cities of Fremont, Newark, and Union City. She also enjoys her position as team mom for her daughter's softball team and volunteers at Union City Girls Softball Association every season. Angelina likes watching movies, traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with her daughter. 

Ron Augustinsky, Esq., Certified Family Law Specialist

Ron Augustinsky received his B.A. from Columbia University and his J.D. from UCLA School of Law.  He has been practicing law in California for more than 27 years, and has been the principal of his law practice for the past 23 years.  Ron has been a Certified Family Law Specialist (State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization) for more than 14 years.  Ron focuses his practice on the areas of family law mediation, family law litigation, and estate planning.

Ron’s approach is always to strive to achieve the best and most cost-effective results for his clients.

In his spare time, Ron enjoys spending time with his family, golf, and music.  Ron is a multi-instrumentalist and singer and has been singing and performing on multiple instruments with rock-n-roll, country, bluegrass and Cajun bands in the East Bay for more than 20 years.  Ron currently plays electric guitar and fiddle with the Pleasanton-based country band The Catfish Boys.
